Joe Wicks PE: Fans ask if he's lying about living room and other hilarious observations

After three days of broadcasting his free PE lessons to the nation, Joe Wicks has come under scrutiny from viewers.

Fans of the daily classes have begun to question if the Body Coach has been telling fibs about whether or not he's streaming live from his living room as promised.

As the schools shut and the UK went into lockdown this week, Joe vowed to become 'the nation's PE teacher' and lead sports sessions to follow on YouTube - for free and without equipment - all from his front room.

But fans have been taking to social media to question if the immaculate space seen in the tutorials is actually inside Joe's real house.

33-year-old Joe lives in London with wife Rosie Jones, their 20-month-old daughter Indie and three-month-old son Marley.

Each morning this week, Joe has been bouncing around on a pristine cream carpet in front of a black fire place and some neatly arranged shelves.

Aside from a map of the world and an electric guitar on the wall hinting at Joe's personal taste, the set-up looks more like a show-home than the front room of a busy family-of-four, some viewers have claimed.

While others asked where the fitness fanatic's television is and why he didn't appear to have a sofa.

"I'm obsessed with the lack of sofa marks," said one, questioning the theory Joe has moved furniture out the way for his classes.

But as previous snaps of Joe's living room reveal, the sessions are indeed coming live from the Wicks' stunning home - he's simply just a de-clutter for practicality.

Joe's easy-to-follow 30 minute sessions have been a huge success so far, with more than 806,000 families tuning in to exercise 9am.

Many have been sharing clips of their youngsters joining in with Joe and their hilarous responses to Twitter afterards.

"Parents all over the world curse Joe Wicks as they spend the morning scrubbing trainer marks off their living room walls," said one.

"Really wish my living room wasn’t like 6ft by 8ft because that Joe Wicks workout has legit smashed up the foundations of my whole house," noted another.

"Well at least the Joe Wicks floor exercises have inspired me to hoover my living room," said a third.

Celebs including Coleen Rooney and Stacey Solomon have also shared videos of their kids getting involved.

Joe announced the idea on Instagram last week.

"Starting from Monday, every single day from Monday to Friday, I'm going to do a live workout called "PE with Joe" on my YouTube channel The Body Coach TV.

It's a workout specifically designed for kids. Because when the schools closed, there is no PE. Don't worry, I've got you.

"I'm going to take this over. I'm going get your kids moving, fit and energised, positive and optimistic."

He added: 'It's a 30-minute session for little kids right up to secondary school, get involved, have fun. We're going to be doing loads of basic exercises. You don't need a lot of room."
