Joe Wicks feels he's lost his purpose after ending daily lockdown P.E. sessions

Joe Wicks admitted he's "lost" without his daily P.E. sessions in lockdown.

The fitness guru become something of a national hero when he offered up his service for free to complete daily workout sessions during lockdown.

His YouTube figures were through the roof at 70million views worldwide while he was batting off offers from BBC and Channel 4.

Now the instructor has been left feeling "confused and lost" after dropping his workout schedule to three times a week.

He said via Instagram stories: "I had so much purpose.

"I was driven and focused and I knew what I was doing - making people feel good. That's when I'm at my happiest.

"Now that's gone I feel confused and lost, but I know I'm going to regain my energy and get myself into a positive mindset."

The dad admitted he had suffered a "flat few days" but he was already beginning to bounce back after working out again.

It's a busy time for the star after he's upped and moved house with his wife Rosie Jones as well as their two children Indie and Marley.

He added: "So I'm half way through my workout, I can't explain how much better I feel emotionally and mentally.

"I've been having a flat few days. I was thinking about P.E. with Joe and the whole impact of what that was doing."

Joe was all everyone was talking about at the start of lockdown.

His gruelling P.E. sessions got the everyone talking about him and working out with him during the coronavirus pandemic.

So much so, Joe had to turn down offers from Channel 4 and BBC because he wanted to focus on his YouTube.

The P.E. guru was giving everything he could back to the NHS where possible after being "blown away" by the ad revenue on his videos.

He told Men's Health : Fast forward to now, I’ve got Channel 4 asking me to stream these PE workouts live.

"I’ve got the BBC asking me to sign a contract. All these channels are now coming to me, and I’ve said, “Look, I want to do this on YouTube. I’m reaching more people. Why would I want to do it with you?"
