Joe Wicks feared baby son Marley had been born blind after arriving three weeks early

Joe Wicks has opened up about fearing his baby son Marley had been blind after the tot arrived three weeks early.

The Body Coach, 33, revealed his four month old appeared to have sight troubles after the premature birth as he was not looking at the faces of his parents.

After Marley arrived in December, he spent the following month in hospital where he was treated for an infection.

Joe and Rosie stayed beside him for as long as he was in there, both concerned for their second child's health.

But the fitness guru has revealed that it was only in the last week that the tot had shown he could see by smiling at his proud parents.

Sharing a clip of little Marley sitting in a bouncer, Joe got very candid with his 3.5 million Instagram followers.

He said: "About four weeks ago we took Marley to a specialist because he wasn't showing any signs of seeing."

He continued: "We thought he wasn't going to be able to see and they said it may be a late developmental thing and we were obviously keeping our fingers crossed, and being positive and look at him now."

Joe then panned the camera onto little Marley's face, before saying: "Look how much he's locked on now when he sees my face."

Joe continued: "Hello mate, it's daddy! You're a joker mate, you had me worried last week and you can see perfectly. You're a late bloomer aren't you darling?

"It was so frustrating because he couldn't see anything, he couldn't lock on, but now he can see my face, he can see my smile. Oh Marley, life's a blessing. I love you mate."

Joe and Rosie are also parents to daughter Indie (Internet Unknown)

He added: "He's responding so well, we love you Marley."

Joe and Rosie are also proud parents to nearly two-year-old daughter Indie.
