Presenter and fitness coach Joe Wicks is to hold a mass PE session at a West Lothian castle as part of a summer tour of the UK.
The Body Coach’s online sessions with youngsters skyrocketed in popularity over lockdown with almost a million people tuning in to daily live streams on YouTube to be put through their paces.
The 35-year-old is now set to take the 30-minute high intensity workouts on the road, with adults and children able to join in at the historic Dundas Castle in August.
The live session, which includes the opportunity to meet Wicks afterwards, takes place on August 14 as the final date on the tour - which also includes stops in Chichester, Cheltenham, Warwick, York and Durham.
He said: “Millions of families took part from their living rooms during lockdown and it's going to be amazing to meet some of them in real-life.
“The workouts are going to be really fun and the locations are all incredible. I can't wait to see you there."
Wicks previously shot to fame through his quick hit recipe videos posted on Instagram and YouTube, leading to the launch of his ‘Lean in 15’ cookbook which went on to sell more than 900,000 copies.
His workouts were watched more than 100 million times during the course of the 2020 lockdown, raising over £580,000 for NHS charities.
Tickets for the event are priced at £5 for children and £10 for adults, with all proceeds being donated to the BBC’s Children in Need appeal.
