Joe Warren-Plant’s sparks Dancing On Ice concern as injury stops him from training

Emmerdale star Joe Warren-Plant’s has sparked concern for his future on Dancing On Ice as he revealed he’s had to cancel training after injuring his knee.

The 18-year-old soap actor was announced as part of the star-studded line-up last month.

The star took to Instagram on Tuesday to reveal he’d been forced to stop his training with professional ice skater partner Vanessa Bauer, 24.

Joe said he was “absolutely gutted” as the pair halted the practice for the novice to nurse his knee.

Alongside a snap of the pair on the ice, Joe wrote: “So we had to cancel today’s training session due to my ongoing knee injury!

“It’s unbelievably frustrating as I really felt like it had healed!

“I’m not one to give up when I feel a little bit of pain and I was willing to carry on but it’s important for me to take a step back, not get too carried away with it and take it easy.

“Kneed to get this under control…”

“I’m glad I have the time off Emmerdale to really focus on training...

“Just to try my best and learn a new skill. It's a new challenge, I've never done anything like it before, so super excited.

“I can't wait. I love getting dressed up, fancy dress parties, it's all part of the fun.”

Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery, Joe!
