Joe Ward has been pencilled in for a dream debut in the professional ranks at Madison Square Garden.
Ward will be on the undercard of Gennady Golovkin's middleweight showdown with Sergiy Derevyanchenko on 5 October.
The Moate man is tipped for big things in the professional game after a glittering amateur career that included three European Championship golds and and three World Championship medals.
He is training under Buddy McGirt in New York and has ambitions of becoming a world champion at light heavyweight.
Ward said on his Instagram page: "Brilliant news, I will be making my debut in MSG on the 5th of October on the undercard of GGG.
"These are the things you dream about."
