The Browns and the NFL Network have announced that retired left tackle Joe Thomas will join the network as an analyst.
Thomas will provide pre- and postgame analysis on the broadcasts for Thursday Night Football for the 2019 NFL season. It’s a nice step for the future Hall of Famer, who has worked as a guest analyst for several venues and has been aiming to break into the broadcasting arena.
“I am thrilled to join NFL Network and Thursday Night Football,” Thomas said in a press release. “Throughout my playing career, I quickly realized there are few events which can rival the excitement and action of primetime NFL games, and having the chance to be a part of that atmosphere each week is something I greatly look forward to.”
Thomas previously auditioned for Monday Night Football. His popular Thomahawk podcast with fellow ex-Brown Andrew Hawkins will remain another opportunity to hear Thomas.
