Joe Thomas honored for his induction into College Football Hall of Fame

Back before he became a perennial All-Pro left tackle for the Cleveland Browns, Joe Thomas was an All-American for the Wisconsin Badgers. His alma mater recognized Thomas’ greatness on Saturday in the Badgers’ win over Michigan State.

On Saturday, Thomas was honored by Wisconsin for his recent induction into the College Football Hall of Fame. The all-time great left tackle was part of the HOF class of 2019.

Wearing No. 72 while in Madison, Thomas won the Outland Trophy in 2006 and was a two-time All-American for the Badgers. The Browns made him the No. 3 overall pick in the 2007 NFL Draft and Thomas never missed a Pro Bowl in his 10 full seasons in Cleveland.
