Joe Swash walks off ITV Good Morning Britain set after being mocked over 'short' trousers

Joe Swash walked off the Good Morning Britain set this morning after being mocked over his bizarre outfit choice by a presenter.

The 37-year-old jokingly stormed off set after host Ben Shephard poked fun at his 'short' trousers - which only reached his ankles.

Host Ben quipped that the former EastEnders star had accidentally come to work wearing his baby son's trousers on this morning's show.

Joe recently became a dad for the second time when his partner Stacey Solomon gave birth to their first child together, who they named Rex.

And GMB presenter Ben joked that Joe's trousers might have been a better fit for hit baby son due to their unusual tailoring.

Joe was talking to Ben and Susanna Reid about Love Island star Curtis , when he said: "Sometimes in my life I need advice. And I think he would be very handy."

Ben quickly cut in and said: "Like don't go to school in your son's trousers."

Trying to keep a straight face, Joe said: "That's a cheap shot, that", before walking off set yelling: "Someone sort these trousers out, will ya?!"

Later in the show, Susanna and Ben presented Joe with a gift for his baby son Rex, in the form of a "Good Morning Baby" outfit, emblazoned with the GMB design.

Joe told the panel: "He’s four weeks old my little boy. He is tiny. He was only a little tiddler but he’s put on loads of weight now so he’s back to birth weight so he’s ready.

"Stacey’s doing amazing. It’s such a difficult job being a mother. She’s a warrior. If it was down to us (men) we’d never do it. She’s doing amazing. Kids all love him as well."

Joe is also dad to 11-year-old son Harry with his ex-fiance, while Stacey has two sons; Zachary, 11, and Leighton, eight.

*Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV
