Joe Swash enjoyed a winning streak of a different kind this week as he stepped up to the oche for a celebrity darts tournament in the middle of Hyde Park on Tuesday.
The presenter took part in the PDC Hyde Park Darts Championship, a first-of-its-kind Pro-Am showdown held on the Great Oak Stage at American Express presents BST Hyde Park.
The event drew thousands of fans, many in full fancy dress, to watch the darts pros and celebrity guests battle it out.
Swash, 42, was paired with darts legend Fallon Sherrock, and the unlikely duo proved to be a crowd favourite as they clinched victory in a dramatic semi-final against Luke Littler and Roman Kemp, before sealing the win in a nail-biting final.
Cheered on by a lively audience, the pair saw off Nathan Aspinall and footballer Dion Dublin, who won to Olly Murs in the first round, with a decisive final shot from Sherrock but not before Swash had won over fans with his enthusiasm and comic timing on stage.

Between matches, fans were treated to classic crowd-pleasers including the ‘Kiss Cam’, a giant game of Rock Paper Scissors, and a mass singalong of Robbie Williams’ Angels with more than 5,000 voices joining in.
The appearance comes amid a career high for Swash, who recently fronted Channel 4's Batch from Scratch: Cooking for Less alongside batch-cooking expert Suzanne Mulholland.
The cost-saving series, aimed at helping families organise their meals and cut down on processed food, proved a ratings hit, pulling in over a million viewers.
Channel 4 has since confirmed a second series of six new episodes for 2025.
Speaking to the Mirror about the news, the TV pair shared: “We’re both excited to keep spreading the word about the power of batch cooking and look forward to teaming up again to transform the lives of families around the UK.”
Elsewhere, BST Hyde Park will wrap up its 2025 run later this week with headline performances from Neil Young, Stevie Wonder and Jeff Lynne’s ELO.
The legendary acts follow a star-studded line-up that has already seen Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter, Noah Kahan and Zach Bryan play to packed-out crowds.
