Joe Swash struggles to protect modesty in tight costume for son's party

Joe Swash has enlisted the help of a coconut to protect his modesty after Stacey Solomon dressed him as a crab for his son's birthday.

Stacey was trying to turn Joe into Tamatoa from Moana for their son Rex's second birthday bash but it didn't go quite to plan and the outfit didn't end up being "very appropriate for a toddler's party".

Documenting her progress on her Instagram account, Stacey wrote alongside a photo of Joe trying it on: "Trying to make Joe a shiny Tamatoa Crab costume for Rex's birthday and it's not looking very appropriate for a toddler's party."

"Think Tamatoa may have to wear a grass skirt on the day … my nieces and nephews and the boys think it's very funny looking though."

In the clip, Stacey can be heard off-camera telling Joe to "tuck it away and just move it".

To which Joe replied: "I don't have anywhere to put it, it's my penis!'"

Stacey couldn't stop laughing as she told him to "just get rid of it". "Why is it there?" she told him.

The Loose Women star - who also has Leighton, nine, and Zachary, 13, from previous relationships - has been documenting fans on her progress over the last few days, begging them for help.

In one post on her Instagram story, she said: "I'm trying so so hard guys but I don't know if it's my costume or Joe but I'm crying - actual tears. Maybe his shiny shell and claws will help bring it together. Send help."

At one point, Stacey confessed she had "no more energy" to continue making the costume and had to call it a night.

She told her millions of Instagram followers: "I'm leaving this here tonight. I have no more energy left for this costume. I've been trying to sew these arms on in the right place for 2 hours but my model is an absolute jobsworth."

Whilst a grumpy Joe told her: "I can't stay in this position, 100 per cent I can't stay in this position."

Stacey and Joe recently moved into their dream house in the Essex countryside.
