Joe Swash was almost in the dog house as he let slip his and Stacey Solomon's wedding date live on Loose Women.
The TV star joined his fiance on the ITV show for a 'Loose Loves' special alongside Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford.
Stacey, 31, has kept fans updated on her wedding planning but hadn't revealed the exact date of her planned nuptials.
That was until Joe, 39, was challenged on whether he knew the date - and then spilled all.
But before he did, Joe asked his other half: "Stacey, are we allowed to say? I never know! Are we allowed to say?"
But she may have put her foot in it by responding: "You wouldn't know the date even if you were allowed to say!"
"Yes the date is going to be the last Sunday in July," Joe then told Eamonn and Ruth, leaving Stacey speechless.
"Oh my God, why did I bring you here?" she said as looked stunned and a nervous Joe tried to redeem himself.
"Fantastic! Good God," she added as she held her head in her hands.
"I'm looking up my diary, we're free love," Eamonn joked with wife Ruth adding: "We're free, I'll get my hat!"
Stacey has been teasing plan for her big day after Joe popped the question before Christmas.
She recently revealed that the wedding will take place in the back garden of her new £1.2million home, named Pickle Cottage, after cancelling their previously booked venue.
And she has already spoken about her ideas for her dress.
"I want a really light floaty material as my skirt,” she told new magazine. “I want it high waisted and with a capped sleeve, too."
The TV star also revealed some of her plans in an interview last month - including the special role her three sons - Zachary, 12, Leighton, 8, and one-year-old Rex.
Joe also has 12-year-old son Harry Swash from a previous relationship.
She told Hello! magazine: "We've got four boys and they will all just be our page boys. We didn't want to make one the best man or give one a special role.
"But I would like them all to walk me down the aisle with my dad.
"Our dogs Theo and Peanut will of course also be involved! They're getting suits made and they'll have bow ties. I made a wedding planning book and a whole double page is dedicated to the dogs."
