Joe Swash has revealed during an Instagram Q and Q with fans that he and Stacey have jointly agreed to postpone their wedding.
The couple, who have been in a longterm relationship for five years, got engaged in December with Joe popping the question to Loose Women star Stacey on Christmas Eve.
However, they will not be having a summer 2021 wedding as planned after learning they are to welcome a daughter together.
Joe told fans that he and Stacey have postponed their nuptials until at least next year so that 'all of their kids can be there'.
The former EastEnders actor said that he wants all of their children to play a special role in the ceremony, revealing hopes that his daughter will be Stacey's flower girl on the day.
Joe, 39, years old and Stacey, 31, are currently awaiting the birth of their first daughter.
They announced they’re expecting to welcome a baby girl in June, revealing they had suffered several miscarriages.
The couple had been planning to get married in the back garden of their new home in Essex this summer.
Explaining their decision to postpone the wedding while sharing a heartwarming photo of the two from their engagement.
Swash wrote on his Instagram @realjoeswashy “I would marry her tomorrow. But we both wanted to wait until next year that way all of the kids can be there.
He continued on and said their family of four “Couldn’t not have our flower girl there could we.”
He also revealed the couple are yet to choose a name for their daughter.
The ex Eastenders actor and presenter responded when asked if they had a name for their baby girl “We’ve just got no clue what to call her,” he said.
He states he is open to any baby girl name suggestions for their daughter and added “But hopefully when she’s here we will just know. Any ideas let me know.”
The previous X-Factor contestant, Stacy Solomon and Joe Swash, who is best known for playing Mickey Miller in EastEnders and proud dad, have a son named Rex together.
Solomon also has two children from previous relationships, while Swash has another son.
The actor humorously said in the chat with fans that if the couple left it up to big brother Rex, two, to decide his baby sisters name it would be “Dino, Panda or Cucumber”.
Stacey is also mum to Leighton and Zacheray from previous relationships. While Joe shares son Harry with his ex partner.
