Joe Sugg dramatically fainted in the arms of a paramedic during last week's bloodbath Great British Bake Off episode that saw two contestants need medical attention.
The Strictly Come Dancing star, 28, accidentally sliced his finger while making a tray bake on Tuesday.
And while Joe needed help from medics, Alex Jones ended up with pieces of glass wedged in her hand after smashing a mixing bowl.
An insider told Sun Online : “It was utter carnage and there’s been nothing like it in the history of the celebrity specials. It was a shock they could carry on.”
Just minutes after the first task called the Signature Challenge began, Joe's finger saw the knife's edge.
And the aftermath of the blunder saw him feeling unwell, before telling the paramedic: “I might need to sit outside for a bit.” He then faints.
Shortly afterwards, the YouTuber fainted in the doc's arms.
Meanwhile Alex's bowl smash left her with a glass-filled injury that saw her require stitches.
As the glass “shatters into 1,000 pieces”, Alex's hand had bits of glass stuck inside.
She said: “I had to go straight off to the paramedic for stitches."
She added: "He said, ‘I’m just going to put in the anaesthetic’ and I was like ‘No, there’s no time for that, I have a showstopper to make, just do it!’”
And Joe seems to get himself into nasty injuries during TV shows quite often, after suffering an agonising injury while training for Strictly’s Christmas special last year.
The 28-year-old performed with Dianne Buswell, who he is dating after meeting on the show.
He said: “We were rehearsing and I jumped off something and twinged my back.”
