Joe Rogan and The Rock have big opinions about Elon Musk's Cybertruck

Tesla's Cybertruck is slated to be delivered in two weeks — two years after its originally scheduled delivery date. But the delay isn't stopping many Elon Musk and Tesla supporters from hyping up the product, including Joe Rogan, who pitched the truck to none other than Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in a recent chat.

Rogan had Johnson on "The Joe Rogan Experience" podcast on Wednesday, Nov. 15, and at one point the two talked cars, particularly Tesla vehicles.

The host said that while he is a car collector, he loves driving his Tesla, to which Johnson said he's heard a lot of great things about Teslas from his friends. However, Johnson admitted that he only drives pick-up trucks which has kept him from driving the vehicle.

That's when Rogan mentioned that the Cybertruck is coming soon. Johnson had apparently never seen the Cybertruck yet, so Rogan went on to show him photos of Tesla's newest vehicle. The host also said that he was able to see it in person, and that photos don't do it justice.

"It's insane. It's a spaceship. Seeing it in real life is so fucking cool," Rogan said. "There's something about photos — you're not in context, you're not physically there where you get to look at it. But when you're physically there, this thing's so fucking cool."

The Rock didn't necessarily affirm that he was going to purchase the vehicle, nor did he affirm whether Rogan's pitch was convincing. But he still seemed interested in the conversation, asking Rogan more questions about the vehicle.

Rogan then went on to praise Musk as the Tesla founder for building "cool" stuff.

"He is the best kind of billionaire to me cause he does wild shit," Rogan said. "He's just a wild fella."

In turn, Musk went on to tweet out a snippet of the segment between Rogan and Johnson on X (formerly Twitter).

Musk and Rogan have been friendly over the years. The Tesla founder has appeared on Rogan's podcast multiple times, most recently in late October.
