Joe Pasquale showed off his new ripped body today during an interview with Good Morning Britain.
The comedian, who plays Frank Spencer in a remake of Some Mothers Do ‘Ave Em, was more than happy to reveal his toned physique to the viewers after explaining how he had transformed his shape by boxing and going to the gym.
When a photo of Joe - also a star in a stage version of The Full Monty - was flashed up on screen showing off his bare chest, then a second one of Joe with a noticeable six pack in the gym, the ITV hosts couldn’t believe what they were seeing.
“Is that you?” said Richard Madeley.
“Do you have a six pack?” asked Ranvir Singh.
“Well, it’s more of a party seven,” Joe joked.
Explaining how he got his new look, Joe added: “A little bit of weights but I do boxing. I get beaten up a lot.”
Joe revealed that he had already toned up for his role in The Full Monty, but decided to take it a step further when a viewer called him “portly”.
Joe said: “It was because of the Full Monty and also we had a review on one of the shows of Some Mothers, one of the viewers said I was a Portly Frank Spencer.
“Portly? I can’t be portly.”
Viewers were just as shocked by Joe’s appearance as Richard and Ranvir.
One tweeted: “Jesus H Christ anyone see the shape of Joe Pasquale on Good Morning Britain, fair play.”
A second posted: “Oh My Word I'm drooling over Joe Pasquale. Who'd have thought it.”
Another simply said: “Joe Pasquale doing life right.”
