Cincinnati Bengals stars Joe Mixon and William Jackson missed practice again Thursday, casting doubt on their availability for Week 7 against the Cleveland Browns.
Mixon suffered an injury during the Week 6 loss to the Indianapolis Colts and later returned to the game despite a questionable tag. But he’s now missed two days in a row.
Jackson is dealing with a concussion, which has a non-linear recovery timetable, so we’ll have to wait and see about his availability for this week, if not well into next week.
The Bengals also got limited practice from the following players on Thursday:
- Geno Atkins
- Shawn Williams
All other notables on the Thursday report — including A.J. Green — were full participants.
The Bengals will announce the final injury report tomorrow, but it’s looking like running back and corner could be light for Round 2 of the Battle of Ohio.
