Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon is a fun follow on social media.
He’s also driving fans on those platforms wild with his vague statements that observers can’t help but read into as the star running back continues likely extension talks with the Bengals.
Normally fans might not read too much into such social media musings. But it doesn’t help that Mixon recently tweeted about big decisions to make and Bengals safety Shawn Williams chimed in telling him to sign on a dotted line.

Overanalyzing timelines aside, reports in May said Mixon and the Bengals had good extension talks. Duke Tobin has since said they’d like to get something done despite lingering questions about future salary caps. On Mixon’s end, a new report says he wants to be one of the eight highest-paid backs in the NFL.
