The Cincinnati Bengals lost Joe Mixon to an ankle injruy during their Week 1 game against the Seattle Seahawks.
Mixon was noticeably absent from the field during the second half while Giovani Bernard got some run out of the backfield. Shortly after, the team and its reps confirmed he has a left ankle injury and is questionable to return.
Before leaving, Mixon had only managed 10 yards on six carries behind a struggling offensive line on the road.
Given the problems with the offensive line and how Seattle’s defense was lining up, it isn’t any wonder the Bengals had attempted more than 30 passes to just 13 rushes by the time Mixon’s injury was announced.
