He did it. Tiger Woods won the Masters. Now that’s a phrase not many thought would ever be uttered again. However, on Sunday, Woods captured the lead at -13 and never looked back, winning his first major since 2008.
Cincinnati Bengals players took to Twitter to acknowledge Woods’ victory, led by Joe Mixon and C.J. Uzomah.
Woods, who many consider the best golfer to ever grace the green, didn’t hit a perfect round, but it was close. The 43-year-old found a way to pull out an unlikely victory.
That said, it’s nice to see both Uzomah and Mixon loving what Woods has done. Hopefully the success they saw Sunday will motivate them to continue to be their best.
We all know the Bengals will need them at the top of their game in 2019.
