Joe Marler returns for Harlequins vs Exeter Chiefs after shaking off shoulder injury

Joe Marler will start for Harlequins against Exeter Chiefs this weekend after shaking off the shoulder injury that forced him to pull out of last week’s win over Gloucester.

The England prop had been due to start against Gloucester, but he was forced to drop out of the team on the day of the game after failing a late fitness test.

Marler has now, however, recovered and he is due to start Saturday’s big clash with Exeter.

Quins have made just one other change to their side from the win over Gloucester, with Cadan Murley starting on the wing and Louis Lynagh dropping to the bench.

The match with Exeter promises to be a huge affair as it is a repeat of last season’s Premiership final, which Harlequins won.

Quins currently sit third in the table this season, while Exeter are in fifth place and just six points behind them.
