PACKERS (4-4-1) AT SEAHAWKS (4-5)
Line: Seahawks by 2 .5; O/U: 48.5
If you have plans Thursday night, just make sure you're around a TV for the final 10 minutes of Packers-Seahawks. The game is in Seattle, so you know something crazy is bound to happen. Remember the NFC Championship Game in January of 2015 when Seattle stormed back and beat Green Bay in overtime after the botched onside kick? Or the "Fail Mary" on Monday Night Football in 2014?
Who knows what they have in store for us this time, but expect a close game between four-win teams fighting for a playoff spot. Seattle has lost two in a row, but they were against the 9-1 Rams and 7-2 Chargers.
Green Bay has Aaron Rodgers and a number of offensive weapons, including former Seahawks tight end Jimmy Graham, but the Packers are 0-4 on the road. Seattle is the toughest place to play, and Russell Wilson has great numbers at home (39-12 overall), on Thursdays (6-1) and in prime time (19-5-1).
Green Bay has won the last three meetings with Seattle, but all those games were at Lambeau Field. The Seahawks won the previous three meetings, all in Seattle. Are you sensing a trend? Home teams are the way to go on a short week: They're 8-2 straight up and 7-2-1 against the spread on Thursday nights this season.
Seattle (5-2-2 ATS) hasn't won at home since its opener in Week 3. Green Bay (3-6 ATS) won't make it easy, but look for Wilson and Tyler Lockett (seven TD catches) to connect for a late touchdown as Seattle finds a way to get to .500.
The pick: Seahawks
