Joe Lolley admits he will have slept a little easier after Nottingham Forest's win against Stoke City.
The winger was on target in the 3-2 win which sent Forest to the top of the Championship, even if they overtaken the following day.
Lolley is not too concerned about the league table in September, although he admits it is nice to be top of the pile rather than struggling.
"It's one game at a time. We rather be in our position than looking up," he told Sky Sports soon after the final whistle.
"It's nice to go to sleep looking at everyone below us. It's a nice feeling."
Lolley levelled for Forest in the first half before Sammy Ameobi and Lewis Grabban put Forest 3-1 up.
James McClean's goal with six minutes to go made for a tense finish and Lolley admits to being nervous watching from the bench after being substituted.
"I was nervous. They got a goal and it made it a nervous finish. I'm just glad we got the points," he said.
"The manager gave me belief before the game. He's given me confidence all season.
"He made sure we were ready for this game."
