Joe Jonas confesses it 'felt nice' to hear Taylor Swift apologise for 'putting him on blast' after split

Joe Jonas admitted it “felt nice” to hear Taylor Swift apologise for criticising him publicly over how he ended their brief romance.

Jonas dated the Love Story singer for several months in 2008 and, after they parted ways, Swift made sure to take a dig at Jonas for his break-up method during an appearance on the Ellen Show.

Swift explained to the host that Jonas had “broken up with her over the phone in 25 seconds” and admitted they hadn’t spoken since the split.

But, last month, Swift apologised for “putting Jonas on blast” during another chat with Ellen DeGeneres, talking about the most “rebellious” thing she did as a teenager.

“Probably when I put Joe Jonas on blast on your show. That was too much. Yeah, that was too much,” Swift, now 29, said. “I was 18. We laugh about it now. That was mouthy, yeah, teenage stuff there”

And Jonas had now admitted that it “felt nice” to hear Swift’s admission, over a decade after their savage split.

“It’s something that I probably was feeling pretty bad about when I was younger, but at the end of the day, like I’ve moved on,” Jonas told ITV’s Lorraine show.

“I’m sure Taylor’s moved on, and it feels nice, and we’re all friends, and it’s all good. We were so young.”

Swift is currently dating British actor Joe Alwyn while Jonas recently tied the knot with Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner.

The two married in a Las Vegas ceremony honours after the Billboard Music Awards, having handed out invites at the event.

Among the guests at the intimate affair were DJ Khaled and Diplo, who took it upon himself to act as official videographer as he livestreamed the nuptials on Instagram.
