It's hard to believe that Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas married just a year ago.
After a whirlwind romance they are now expecting their first child together - but how did it all begin?
They'd had mutual friends and followed each other on social media before they got together in 2016, after the Jonas Brothers star, 30, slid into her DMs.
Sophie, 24, explained to Harper's Bazaar: "We had a lot of mutual friends and they'd been trying to introduce us for a long time.
"We were following each other on Instagram and he direct-messaged me one fine day, out of the blue."
And after that they were inseparable, enjoying dates on both sides of the Atlantic as Sophie joined him on tour.
Though they didn't confirm their relationship at first, it became clear they were together when they popped up on friends' Instagrams and were snapped holding hands in the street.
By July 2017 things were getting serious and they'd already met each other's parents, with Sophie joining the Jonas clan on a family holiday.
After just a year of dating, they announced their engagement in October 2017.
"I said yes," Sophie said, sharing a picture of her ring.
Speaking about getting engaged at the age of 21, Sophie told Rolling Stone: "I feel like I'm much older a soul than I am in age.
"I feel like I've lived enough life to know. I've met enough guys to know - I've met enough girls to know. I don't feel 22.
"I feel like 27, 28."
The couple had their first wedding in May 2019 after the Billboard awards at the famous Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas.
Sophie wore a white jumpsuit and Joe's brothers Kevin and Nick Jonas served as his groomsmen.
Then in June they had a more traditional white wedding with all their friends and family present.
The lavish ceremony was held in Sarrians in the Provence region of southern France.
In February this year reports began to emerge that Sophie was pregnant with their first child.
A source told JustJared.com : "The couple is keeping things very hush hush but their friends and family are super excited for them.
"Sophie has decidedly been choosing outfits to wear on and off the carpet to accommodate her changing body."
Their reps declined to comment at the time but as more and more pictures of her began to emerge, it became obvious that they have a little one on the way.
Neither Sophie or Joe has spoken publicly about the pregnancy.
It's now been reported that Sophie is just weeks away from giving birth.
