I’m not sure what’s happening in the universe right now, but it looks like the return of late 2000s Disney is in full swing with Joe Jonas dropping a major bombshell during a Hot Ones Versus interview.
In case you’ve been out of the loop, the Jonas Brothers — made up of Joe, Nick and Kevin Jonas — have been making headlines after reuniting with fellow Disney OG and Camp Rock star Demi Lovato at a recent gig.
But now, Disney adults have been sent into a tizzy after Joe dropped some major news regarding one of the movies that shaped A LOT of childhoods.
While bonding over some super spicy wings on Hot Ones Versus with Nick and Kevin, Joe accidentally confirmed Camp Rock 3.
CAMP ROCK 3? YES, CAMP ROCK 3.
The massive bombshell dropped when Nick asked Joe — who plays the oh so moody Shane Grey in the beloved Disney original — to read his latest Notes app entry.
“Read Camp Rock 3,” Joe bluntly said as his brothers giggled out of shock.
“That’s the truth. It’s literally right here,” Joe continued.
“Sorry, Disney.”

For folks who’ve yet to feast their eyes on the delight that is Camp Rock, the 2008 Disney flick follows Mitchie Torres (Demi Lovato), who manages to nab a spot at the highly sought-after Camp Rock after her mum’s catering business was hired for the season. At the same time, boy band frontman Shane Grey (Joe Jonas) of Connect Three (a fictional band played by the Jonas Brothers) is forced to join the summer camp following a series of public outbursts.
I don’t want to give much of the plot away because you should definitely give it a watch, but the movie contains lessons about belonging and being your true self.
In 2010, Disney Channel dropped the second Camp Rock flick, Camp Rock 2: Final Jam, where we see Mitchie return to Camp Rock, but unfortunately, a major rivalry brews when Camp Star opens up across the lake.
The movies have produced some major bangers, including “This Is Me”, “Wouldn’t Change A Thing” and my personal favourite, the Camp Rock chant.
That being said, Joe’s truth bomb doesn’t come as a surprise (even though I am quite shook), as the trio recently reunited with Demi during their concert in New Jersey.
During their surprise reunion, the Disney gang sang some Camp Rock bangers like “Gotta Find You” and “Wouldn’t Change A Thing”.
And naturally, their reunion broke the internet (and my Disney knees).
With a potential Camp Rock 3 and Disney posting a teaser for the Hannah Montana: 20th Anniversary, I don’t know what I’m going to do. Probably combust.
