Joe Hart has been ‘spotted’ at Glasgow Airport ahead of sealing his switch to Celtic.
The Tottenham goalkeeper is due to undergo his medical today before penning a three-year deal at Celtic Park.
It’s reported that the Scottish Premiership runners up will pay £1million to sign the former England goalkeeper, who hasn’t made a league appearance since 2018.
Ange Postecoglou has made the position a priority after Vasilis Barkas continued his erratic form and Scott Bain failed to cover himself in glory during their Scottish Premiership opening day defeat at Tynecastle.
And it looks like Hart will be the new number one after apparently flying north this morning.
A fan on twitter shared a snap with the former Man City ‘keeper, claiming to have bumped into the 34-year-old outside Glasgow Airport this morning.
It’s claimed Hart is prepared to take a massive hit on his weekly wage in order to join Celtic.
He’s struggled to hold down a first team spot at any of the clubs he’s been at since falling out of favour under Pep Guardiola at City back in 2018.
Spells at West Ham, Torino and Burnley preceded his switch to North London but he was unable to force his way into Jose Mourinho and now Nuno Espirito Santo’s plans and has jumped at the chance to move north of the border in order to play more football.
