Joe Hart sends Celtic support strong seven word message as he hails win over St Mirren

Joe Hart has sent a seven word message to the Celtic support following the big win over St Mirren in Paisley.

Ange Postecoglou's men suffered an early set back with Mark O'Hara converting from 12-yards with just minutes played but after Charles Dunne's red card, the Hoops put constant pressure on the home side and fired FIVE second half goals to secure a huge win.

Jota superbly levelled before Alistair Johnston made it two five minutes later to turn the game on its head. Liel Abada got in on the act with 20 minutes to play before Matt O'Riley and Oh Hyeon-gyu both fired for a convincing win for the champions. The result restored the nine point advantage over Rangers at the Premiership summit following their victory over Kilmarnock at Ibrox 24 hours before.

Celtic No1 Hart was delighted with the effort on show as he took to social media to praise the team for the result and also the supporters. He wrote: "Good win boys. Top class support, never taken for granted."

The games come thick and fast for the table toppers who now face Hearts in back to back games. First up is a league meeting on Wednesday night under the lights at Parkhead before Postecoglou and his troops make the trip to the capital on Saturday in the Scottish Cup as they bid to keep their Treble hopes alive and kicking.

Speaking to Celtic TV about the win over St Mirren, Postecoglou said: "We knew it would be a tough challenge for us here and after the penalty decision we had to maintain our composure and discipline and I thought the lads did that.

"We didn't get too carried away with the state of the game at that time and for the most part, we handled it well.

"Even when they went down to 10 men I thought we maintained our composure again and I thought the guys coming on gave us that extra bit of energy and drive."
