Joe Hart sends Celtic 'let's go' message as Hoops target channels Steven Gerrard's Rangers call

Incoming Celtic goalkeeper Joe Hart has sent a message to supporters as he nears a move to Glasgow.

The former England No. 1 is set to complete a move to Celtic Park in the coming days to become the club's new goalkeeper as Ange Postecoglou looks to strengthen his side.

The Celtic manager has been looking to strengthen the position with Vasilis Barkas and Scott Bain both failing to impress in their opportunities so far this season.

Both players have been at fault for goals during the early season struggles for Celtic that has seen Postecoglou fail to win any of his three competitive games in charge.

But now they've strengthened by bringing in the 34-year-old in a £1m deal, with a three-year contract expected to be signed following a medical.

Hart was due to undergo that medical today and posted an image from inside what looked like a private jet with a caption that said: "Let's go" and also included a green heart.

It's the same phrase that was used by Steven Gerrard when he joined Rangers back in 2018 and became the early message Ibrox supporters got involved with.

Hart hasn't played a league game for any club since 2018 and has struggled for regular first team football since leaving Manchester City.

He was long term No. 1 at City before Pep Guardiola took charge but was sent on loan to Torino when he joined, before spells at West Ham, Burnley and Tottenham.
