Joe Hart breaks Celtic transfer silence as he sends Tottenham 'focus' message

Celtic target Joe Hart appears keen to shut out the transfer noise as he returns to Tottenham training.

Record Sport revealed that Celtic have stepped up their bid to land the stopper in a £1million swoop this summer.

The 34-year-old has been told by new boss Nuno Espirito Santo he will not be part of his plans this season.

Hart has one year left on his Spurs terms worth a cool £2.5m but Record Sport understands Tottenham are open to cutting a deal over the remaining 12 months on his contract.

The English Premier League outfit want the 34-year-old to leave the club this summer following the arrival of Pierluigi Gollini from Atalanta on loan, dropping Hart to third choice.

Despite the distractions, Hart appears keen to show he has the right attitude.

On Friday morning, Hart posted a photo of himself in training the previous day on his Instagram Story with the caption "Nothing but focus, no matter what #relentless".

It's the first time Hart has spoken out since news of Celtic's revived interest in the 34-year-old emerged this week.

Ange Postecoglou has been desperate for new recruits with Vasilis Barkas and Scott Bain giving him a headache between the sticks so far this term.

Hart has struggled to keep a regular first-team spot since falling out of favour at Manchester City under Pep Guardiola.

He has spent time at Torino, Burnley and West Ham before moving to the London giants, and did not make a top flight appearance under Jose Mourinho or Ryan Mason.
