Joe Harris after win: ‘Steph Curry is the greatest shooter of all time’

Joe Harris had an incredible showing in the NBA’s 3-Point Contest on Saturday night. After a solid first round in which he finished with 25 points, he got a tad bit stronger in the final round and put 26 on the board, forcing Steph Curry to have an epic final round to win it all.

Curry seemed up to the task, making his first nine shots, but he slowed down during the third and fourth racks, needing a perfect money ball rack just to tie things up. Curry missed one on the final rack, sealing Harris’ win.

Despite the win, however, Harris doesn’t believe that he’s the best shooter in the NBA, according to Nick Friedell.

Harris is a gracious winner. While he’s not wrong, it’s always fun to see these guys go at each other a bit for winning non-consequential contests. Harris was in the 3-point contest for a reason, and he was able to win because he is one of the NBA’s elite shooters this season.

Harris is shooting 47 percent on five attempts per game and bested Curry, who is the best at what he does. No, he’s not the best shooter in the league, but he earned the right to talk a little trash with an incredible performance.
