Joe Burrow’s NFL draft shirt joins his Bengals jersey as highly demanded

Joe Burrow Cincinnati Bengals jerseys are a hit.

His regualr jerseys stood tall on best-selling lists alongside the likes of Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski. And his “color rush” jersey zoomed up the charts to No. 1 when it was finally released.

But the “740” shirt Burrow wore on draft night is making waves too.

Burrow wore the shirt, which displays a green outline of the state of Ohio with “740” in the middle, during the NFL draft. And Nike has admitted that demand for it is so high it has made the shirt purchasable online.

Here’s what Burrow said during the draft broadcast about the shirt: “I just want to show as much appreciation to this area as I can.”

Area, meaning Athens, Ohio, hence the green of Ohio University and the area code. Burrow used his massive platform last year to speak on issues in the area and raised more than half a million for a local food bank in the process.
