Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow didn’t take long to address the fans after he suffered a knee injury in Week 11.
Burrow, after getting carted off the field and being immediately ruled out for the game, took to social media to shoot out a message.
And he kept it simple: “Thanks for all the love. Can’t get rid of me that easy. See ya next year”
Burrow’s address goes out not only to Bengals fans, but to the greater NFL world, where the likes of Patrick Mahomes and Russell Wilson sent him heartfelt messages after the devastating injury.
The comeback trail for Burrow begins now, with the No. 1 pick sending out a message that is right on brand. Expect more from him sooner than later.
