Joe Buck unleashed an ‘immunized’ joke after report about Aaron Rodgers’ toe injection

Aaron Rodgers is not going to hear the end of his misleading preseason press conference about his vaccination status anytime soon — nor should he. All you had to do was watch Sunday’s game between the Packers and Rams to see how things are going for Rodgers.

Joe Buck even got in on the jokes.

Rodgers underwent treatment the past week for a toe injury, which he initially joked was a side effect called “COVID toe.” That joke was taken seriously in a Wall Street Journal report and sparked whole separate ordeal. But according to Rodgers, it was really a fractured pinkie toe, and he told the Fox broadcast that he received a painkilling injection for the toe ahead of the Rams game.

Well, that report from Erin Andrews really put a Rodgers-immunized joke on a tee for Buck, and there was no way he was going to pass up on it.
