If you believe in jinxes, then wow, do we have one for you!
Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker has been a guarantee from inside 40 yards in the past four years, making an unreal 70 straight field goals. On Tuesday, in the Ravens’ eventual win over the Dallas Cowboys, he had just made No. 71 from 31 yards out. But a Ravens false start sent him back to kick again from 36 yards.
That’s when Joe Buck and Troy Aikman discussed the streak, and just before the snap, Buck declared, “I’m just going to say he is (going to make the kick). No announcer’s jinx, c’mon!”
Even if you don’t believe in jinxes, this is a pretty hilarious sequence:
