Joe Brolly slams GAA Championship and says 'Everyone's time being wasted' as Mayo crush sorry Leitrim

Joe Brolly slammed the GAA Football Championship and said that 'Everyone's time being wasted' as Mayo crushed Leitrim in the Connacht Championship.

Mayo ran out 24 point winners against Leitrim on Sunday with the game put to bed early in the first half.

And the one sided victory led former RTE pundit Brolly to take to social media and said everyone's time is being wasted.

Brolly said on Twitter: "This is most unfair. Really it is a disgrace. Leitrim being humiliated. Everyone’s time being wasted.

"Commentary & punditry team forced to go into patronising mode (“Leitrim giving it their best”, “Lovely effort by Dolan, really deserved a point”). GAA ought to be ashamed."

And the Derry legend took a swipe at the GAA during the game.

"It is enraging that the GAA inflicts this humiliation year in year out on small counties that are working so hard to keep communities healthy and playing the games."

Mayo progress to the Connacht final and will play Galway for a spot in the All-Ireland semi-final.
