Joe Brolly claims Dublin lacked passion in their defeat to Monaghan that relegated them to Division 2 of the Allianz Football League.
Dessie Farrell's side lost 3-13 to 1-18 in Clones on Sunday as Jack McCarron's last-gasp 40-metre free preserved Monaghan’s Division 1 status.
A draw would have sent Monaghan and Dublin down, but McCarron’s dramatic winner ended up saving his own side and relegating Kildare, who lost in Mayo and finished on five points
McCarron’s winner - part of a stunning 2-6 haul - moved Monaghan on to six points and safety.
It also maintained Monaghan’s proud record of playing Division 1 football every season since 2015, making them the second-longest serving team in the top flight after Kerry.
For Dublin, next year will be the first time since 2008 that they play Division 2 football.
Brolly took to Twitter following the game and claimed the Dubs are "no longer a team".
He tweeted: "Dublin are no longer 'a team'. Totally disorganised, with no cohesion, it is every man for himself. Worst of all, no passion."
Dubs boss Farrell was critical of his team's performance following the game.
He said: “Obviously it is just very disappointing. We did well to get back into it at the death. It is very disappointing but we just have to get on with it at this stage
“To be honest that (relegation) is not the concerning thing.
“Our disappointment is based around the inconsistency of the performance after having two decent performances back-to-back.
“There is still some work to do for sure. We thought we were at a decent enough trajectory at that point. In the second half we were better.
“We were flat enough in the first half. It is more disappointing I think in terms of the quality of the performance.
“Obviously we are looking towards the summer at this point.
“We knew the challenge. We were not surprised by anything threw at us.
“We knew it was going to be tough in Clones. It was a good day for football.
“We had put two decent performances back-to-back but we would have liked to have had a string of performances going into the Championship. That would have been nice so there is still plenty for us to look at.”
