Until today Joe Ayoob was known as the former Berkley quarterback who never quite lived up to his promise. That's all changed now, as Ayoob has thrown a paper airplane 226 feet, 10 inches to smash the world record by 19 and a half feet.
Ayoob's career as a professional QB was clearly never meant to be, as he went unselected in the 2007 NFL draft before going on to play in the Arena Football League's developmental league.
Could be that he just hadn't found his true calling. Until now.
