An unnamed English Premier League club is considering a move for Joe Aribo, according to a report.
The Rangers midfielder missed Saturday's pre-season clash with Arsenal after picking up a knock reports in Nigeria suggest he's wanted down south.
The London-born star has impressed since moving to Ibrox two years ago and was a key part in Steven Gerrard's men winning the league last season.
A move to the Premier League would be hard to turn down but the Nigeria international is believed to be focused on the job at Ibrox.
All Nigeria Soccer say Aribo has ambitions of moving to the English Premier League but his absence on Saturday had nothing to do with that.
It’s unclear whether he has returned to training yet but Gerrard will be hoping he plays a part in one of the two friendlies this weekend.
Rangers face Brighton on Saturday before taking on Real Madrid on Sunday and Aribo will want game time before the new season starts on July 31.
Aribo joined Rangers from Charlton in the summer of 2019 and has since gone on to score 17 goals in 92 games for the club, as well as earning six caps for his national team.
