Jody Allen, Chair of the Seattle Seahawks and the Portland Trail Blazers, and Trustee of the Paul G. Trust, issued a statement on Tuesday morning via Twitter, addressing rumors of the potential sale of the teams.
In the statement, Allen reiterated that neither club is for sale at this time, nor are any sales discussions underway.
Allen did note that things could change in the future when the estate is fully settled, but that could take 10-20 years, and no firm timeline has been established.
For now, Allen’s focus will remain on “winning.”
