Jodie Comer's Bafta went on a Liverpool pub crawl with her mum and dad

Jodie Comer's proud mum and dad took her Bafta on a pub crawl around Liverpool.

The 26-year-old won the award last month for her role as psychopath Villanelle in Killing Eve.

Speaking to The Guardian , the Liverpool-born actress said she watched Game Of Thrones and had a burger for breakfast the day after winning, while her parents took the Bafta back to Childwall.

She said they have named the accolade 'Billy' taking it back to Liverpool on the train following the ceremony in London.

Jodie said: "My dad had it out on the train, and this woman went: ‘That’s not from Poundland, is it?’ This other woman said: ‘Is that the real thing?’ He said, ‘Yeah, do you want to touch it?’"

She added: "They took it on a pub crawl. They were so proud."

During her acceptance speech Jodie, who took drama classes while at St Julie's High School in Woolton, thanked Line of Duty star and Kirkby man Stephen Graham for his support in the early years of her career, saying: "Stephen, if I didn't owe you a pint before I definitely do now."

Graham recommended her to his agent when she was 15, which soon led her on to her role as Chloe in My Mad Fat Diary on Channel 4.

But in her speech she reserved her biggest thank you to her family and dedicated the award to her grandmother, who passed away before the series was finished, saying: "Nana Frances you were absolutely right all along."

Jodie is currently shooting for new action comedy Free Guy with Ryan Reynolds in Boston.
