An Garda Siochana are hiring for two major roles including one in Dublin and the wage is pretty good.
The national police service is looking to recruit emergency call takers and incident creation representatives.
They are offering €24,586 to €40,592 p.a. for the full-time positions.
Emergency Call Takers
Job responsibilities involve responding to emergency 999/112 calls and dispatching the appropriate garda response to each incident.
Garda call centres are currently located in Cork, Dublin, Galway and Waterford.
Incident Creation Representatives
The Garda Information Services Centre (GISC) are looking for incident creation representatives to join their team in Castlebar, Co Mayo.
They are looking for candidates with fast/accurate keyboard skills and a good standard of English.
The job description reads: "This role is suited to individuals that have the drive and passion to make a difference to peoples’ lives but who are also able to work in a high pressured environment where you can sometimes experience high volumes of calls some of which may be very emotive."
