AA Roadwatch are hiring a junior researcher to keep tabs on Dublin's busy streets.

The traffic watchdog say the role would be ideal for anyone in third-level education or looking for experience in radio and researching work.

They are looking for a person who is "a capable team player with the ability to work well under pressure and excellent communication skills".

"Applicants would ideally have previous journalism/broadcast experience/qualification and a genuine interest in radio and research work," they added.

The role is part-time, with around 15-20 hours a week expected.

Shifts will mainly be weekends and evenings, but maay also include Monday-to-Friday rush hour shifts (6am-9:30am and 4pm-7pm).

A successful candidate would work between home and the AA Roadwatch office in the city centre.

Applicants are asked to send a CV and a 30 second demo of a mock traffic report by e-mail to  roadwatchjob@gmail.com.
