Over 20 jobs have been announced as Deliveroo is set to launch in Swords.
As part of the app’s Irish expansion, customers in the north Dublin area will now have the chance to order food from their favourite restaurants.
This will help create 20 jobs, with the majority of these being Deliveroo drivers.
The company is partnering with 40 restaurants with more planned by the end of the year.
Michael Healy general manager of Deliveroo Ireland said: "Launching out in Swords has been something we have been working on for some time.
“Swords has a thriving food scene and population to match, so we’re excited to connect them.
“We look forward to working with our new restaurant partners to reach a new customer base and expand their businesses.
“Deliveroo will also create work for local riders and are thrilled to offer a flexible role to the community.”
