Jobs in Dublin: More than 100 positions announced by German retail giant Aldi

Job seekers take note as Aldi is hiring a total of 141 staff at its stores in Dublin.

The German retail giant is hoping to recruit a total of 550 store-level staff nationwide in 2020.

The company is looking to hire a total of 141 staff for the roles of store assistant and assistant store manager across their stores in the capital.

They told Dublin Live said that the roles include a mixture of both part-time and full-time positions.

Aldi will also be increasing its minimum wage to match the Living Wage Technical Group’s recommended rate of €12.30 per hour starting February 1.

Store assistants will earn up to €14.10 per hour.

Donald Mackay, Managing Director Aldi Naas said: “We are seeking to recruit 141 new employees this year for our stores in Dublin.

"We need the very best people to join the Aldi team to help us continue to deliver the highest level of customer service and lowest grocery prices in Ireland.

“We plan on hiring 550 new employees nationwide this year to join the Aldi Ireland team and contribute to our growth and success.

“Our expanding store portfolio, market performance and new Project Fresh stores demand that we continue to future proof our business with the best people in retail.”
