Jobs in Dublin: Blanchardstown shopping centre gets two new stores as part of €32 million extension creating 125 positions

Blanchardstown Centre will get two new flagship stores as part of their €32 million reconfiguration and extension plans.

European retail platform, Multi Corporation that manages Blanchardstown Centre said that the new 55,000 sq ft development will have a total of eight retail units including a brand new ALDI and JD Sports store.

The plans will also mean 125 permanent positions with an additional 150-200 jobs created during the construction phase of the project.

This will be a huge add to the 5,500 people that are currently employed at the shopping centre.

Shoppers will be happy to know that the centre will not be impacted by the works and operating hours will remain as usual.

Speaking to FM104, Pat Nash, Managing Director of Multi Ireland, said: "The commencement of construction on this new phase at Blanchardstown Centre represents a key milestone in the creation of an improved shopping experience for our customers."

He added "The new investment and upgrade offers exciting opportunities for retailers to thrive in one of Ireland’s leading retail locations."
