Jobs in Dublin: 600 positions announced at new telecoms training centre in Rathcoole

A total of 600 jobs will be created following the launch of KN Circet’s training academy in Dublin.

The Irish telecom contractor has announced 600 jobs which will be made over the course of 18 months at their new facility in Rathcoole.

Currently they are announcing 200 jobs in administration, fibres splicing, cabling and smart metering installations with a further 400 jobs planned over the next 12 months.

CEO Donagh Kelly said: “The facility is the result of decades of hard work from the team at KN Circet and the scenario-based training programme is built from real experiences.

“We equip trainees with the necessary skills required for this growing industry.

"KN Circet are creating local jobs for this growing industry and look forward to facilitating positive career paths for our existing and future employees.”

The academy will focus on traditional classrooms as well as scenario-based training such a mock street, outdoor electrical poles, and an underground space.

They will cover everything from customer service to technical skills and the training centre will facilitate up to 2,000 people per year.
