Over 20 jobs will be created as Deliveroo has announced expansion into three new areas in south Dublin.
The popular food app will be available in Tallaght, Clondalkin, and Citywest with the company hoping to partner with over 50 takeaways by the end of the year.
This will see over 20 jobs being created with a majority of these being Deliveroo riders, who aim to deliver food, which will be cooked, fresh to order and delivered from the restaurant kitchen to the customers’ door in under 30 minutes.
Michael Healy General Manager of Deliveroo Ireland said, "Launching in Tallaght is a key milestone for Deliveroo.
“Tallaght has a thriving food scene and a wide range of restaurants, so we’re excited to connect them.
“We look forward to working with our new restaurant partners to reach a new customer base and expand their businesses.
“Deliveroo will also create work for 20 local riders and is thrilled to offer a flexible role to the community.”
