Aldi has announced 20 new jobs with the opening of its newest store in Dublin.
The Royal Canal Park store will feature the supermarket giant’s Project Fresh layout spanning 1,118m², 75 free car parking spaces, wide aisles and hi-spec fixtures and fittings.
The move is part of Aldi’s €160m investment in the Irish store network, and the store will be powered by 100% green electricity, Dublin Live reports.
Kart Paalma, store manager, said: “The opening of Aldi Royal Canal Park is great news for local shoppers as we have the best grocery prices in Ireland.

“Our Swap and Save campaign continues into 2019 and the goal of this campaign is to remind shoppers about the savings that can be generated by swapping their weekly shop to Aldi.
“The spacious award-winning Project Fresh design of our new store makes for an easy and enjoyable shop.”
The news comes following the recent opening of Aldi Blackrock in the Frascati Centre and it is set to open a new store in Swords later this year.
