Working in Barbour House, employees would help produce and market clothing that's sold everywhere from America to Japan.

ERP Project Manager
The job: "Due to growth and continuous improvement within the business an opportunity has arisen for an experienced ERP Project Manager to join our IT team on a fixed term 18-month contract.
"The primary objective will be the delivery of the ERP upgrade project from Infor M3 to Infor CloudSuite. This will be a cross functional role working closely and collaboratively with all business departments, driving both the ERP upgrade project as well as the associated business transformation agenda.
"The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and ensure work is delivered on time, within budget and that all business operations operate efficiently and effectively with the new system."
Systems Support Analyst
The job: "J Barbour & Sons have an opportunity for a Systems Support Analyst to join the IT Systems team on a permanent basis. This is a service orientated role with a very strong technical (SQL) focus and is an integral part of the IT team.
"This role is a systems analyst/developer role within a SQL Server environment with a capability to support the business across multiple systems and solutions. We’re looking for a dynamic person who enjoys delivering service, has experience of business systems including ERPs but with excellent MS SQL Server skills. "
Supply Chain Assistant
The job: "We have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Assistant to join our expanding and fast-paced Supply Chain team at Barbour House, South Shields.
"You will assist in the control and coordination of the product range to suppliers, ensuring finished goods are supplied “on time” to our distribution centre, following the agreed quantities and adhering to set timelines.
"This is a key role in making sure “on time” delivery for product Purchase Orders is achieved, as well as ensuring the Business System data accurately reflects production plans and delivery schedules.
"The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a similar fashion and apparel environment, with demonstrable knowledge of garment and general procurement. "
Student placements
Barbour is also offering a range of placements for students studying a variety of degrees relevant to the specific roles who are able to do a 'sandwich year' in industry while studying. For these roles they offer a training allowance of £100 per week, plus £5 a day travel expenses.
